INXS returns to the region

With locals still buzzing about the band’s headline performance at last year’s January A Day on the Green concert, the group have today announced a Coast to Coast tour, with Mudgee’s Parklands Resort their only stop in the state’s Central West.

The tour will take band members Kirk Pengilly, Andrew Farriss, Tim Farriss and new frontman Ciaran Gribbin to Australia’s rock heartlands from Toowoomba to Geelong, arriving in Mudgee for one show only on Saturday, June 16.

“Regional Australia has been going through some tough times over the last year or so dealing with various floods and fires so we are excited to bring our live show to these areas.”

Their latest show will feature a few new tunes, plus all the hits that have made them one of Australia’s most loved bands, including Need You Tonight, By My Side, Never Tear Us Apart and live anthem Don’t Change.

After more than 30 years on the road, organisers have hinted this may be the last chance regional Australia will get to see the group.

Tickets to see INXS at Parklands Resort go on sale from 9am this Wednesday, April 4 at Mudgee Bookcase and at www.ticketmaster.com.au.

Admission to the concert is strictly for persons 18 years and over.
